Sized in European, we find this style to fit nearly true to size in the length. Due to the thick lining, it can be a bit snug for you ladies who wear socks and/or prefer to have a bit of wiggle room in your toe ~ I personally could wear either size but prefer a size larger just for the option of wearing a sock. If you have the sort of foot that floats between two sizes, you will likely prefer the size up. The width is average to above average.

As for the calf width, this boot is adjustable. It measures 16.5" in circumference at the top of the 14.5" tall shaft. The lining does take up a bit of space. When you adjust the top buckles, the calf width can increase or decrease by 2" at the top of the boot.
